About André

Son of two Swedish missionary teachers, André was raised in Sweden, Tunisia and Palestine where his dream of becoming a professional story teller and film maker began. He started his career as a photojournalist in Nepal and India, studied anthropology and psychology, then transitioned to directing commercials for Scandinavian and international brands. Three years ago, he began realizing his lifelong dream of making films by completing his first independent short film inspired by a true story. His debut feature film In the Father's Shadow is set to be completed by the end of 2025.
